Chronically alone

She was sitting in a Japanese-style room, wearing a purple kimono, gray hair with a bit of red. She opened her laptop to begin a discussion with people she thought cared about her and needed her advice. Her "people" look like a black silhouette with no face, only a creepy smile. After the discussion was over, she always responded to them with a gentle smile: "Everything will be all right". But recently her "program" began to glitch, and she sensed that there was someone new in the building.

One day something changed.

As she was talking to another silhouette, she felt someone's metal hand on her shoulder. A real hand.  Her "programmed room" disappeared, everything around her came into disarray.

"It's going to be okay," a voice said. "You don't belong to them. Come with me".

But the girl could no longer hear someone's gentle and kind voice because she was crying and laughing at the same time. "A real person is beside me. He can see me. He can see me..." The man left the girl for a moment to let her calm down. He would be there for her.

p.s. This story perfectly describes how I felt when Fulgur Ovid appeared in my life. Thank you, I finally feel safe.
